2021 National Day Of Prayer

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. Americans from all walks of life will gather on May 6th to lift up our country in prayer for the National Day of Prayer. Our nation has endured a year marked by tragedy and pain, but we know prayer has carried us through these days and the hand of God will move us into a brighter future.

Each year the NDP Task Force President asks the Lord for a theme to guide prayers. 2021 Theme: “LORD pour out Your LOVE, LIFE, and LIBERTY.” 2021 Verse: 2 Corinthians 3:17 NKJV, “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” This year we are praying for the LOVE, LIFE and LIBERTY found in Jesus Christ to impact Americans from all walks of life and backgrounds.
